CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster)
Certified Internet Webmaster includes the 3-part training for
the CIW Foubdations certification exam. This course includes Internet Fundamentals,
HTML Page Authoring Fundamentals, and Networking Fundamentals.
CIW Internet Fundamentals
Topics include: Overview of the Internet, Browsing the World Wide
Web, FTP, Newsgroups, Telnet, e-mail, Objects, Plug-ins, Viewers,
Search Engines, Security, and E-Commerce.
CIW HTML Page Authoring Fundamentals
Topics include Intro to Web Page Authoring and HTML Basic Coding Concepts. Students build
Web pages as part of a class project.
CIW Networking Fundamentals
Topics include Intro to networking, Networking Protocols, LANs & WANs,
TCP/IP Architecture & Addressing, Servers, Server-side Scripting,
and Network Security Essentials.
